Pendum Names Brad Browder President;
Champions Industry Thought Leadership



DENVER, December 11, 2009 – Pendum today announced that Brad Browder has been named President. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Browder assumes responsibility for day-to-day operations and top line sales growth. Browder joined Pendum in 2008 as Executive Vice President – Armored Operations, from Diebold, where he served as Vice President of Sales Operations.

Under Browder’s leadership, Pendum will continue to aggressively upgrade its operational capabilities and invest in resources to successfully deliver The Value of One – the company’s mission to provide a seamless combination of products and services that improve ATM uptime, reduce ATM operating costs and simplify the management of ATM programs for its customers.

Championing Industry Thought Leadership
“Pendum is a much different company today than it was a year ago,” said Browder. “Today, the company delivers nationally-recognized results at a local level and offers a service model that allows for greater operational efficiencies. The changes that have taken place in the last 12 months have been remarkable.”

One such change is the proactive approach to industry issues. While a number of organizations in the industry do a great job of addressing specific aspects of ATM security and risk management, there is not a single forum for all service providers—both armored transport and ATM maintenance—to collectively discuss security issues. In November, Pendum hosted an ATM Security Forum that brought together security professionals from both the armored transport and ATM maintenance businesses to share best practices and develop industry partners.

Continued Investment in People and Processes
Over the last few months, Pendum has invested in systems and infrastructure to better serve its operations and drive business efficiencies, as well as welcomed new talent to help position the company for future success.

Specifically, the company has welcomed Cindy Luckman as Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Luckman joins Pendum from Fifth Third Processing Solutions, where she most recently served as Vice President of Sales responsible for selling the organization’s EFT financial processing capabilities. With more than 20 years of experience selling financial products and services, and partnering with financial institutions, Luckman has an acute understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by national, regional and community banks and credit unions.

The company has also welcomed Jeff Gardner as Senior Vice President, Support Operations. Gardner joins Pendum from PaySimple, a payment management solutions company, where he most recently served as President responsible for transforming the company from a small start-up into an industry-leading service provider. With more than 15 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, and financial management, Gardner will manage Pendum’s operational support functions.

In addition, Pendum welcomed Kirby Slunaker as Chief Information Officer. Slunaker comes to Pendum with more than 20 years of experience in leading information technology efforts for venture-backed, start-up companies and Fortune 500 companies, including Visa, Total Systems, Plus System, eBags and MDC Holdings. Most recently, he served as a consultant for Palmaris Solutions providing strategic technology solutions for a variety of clients.
